These
pieces are collectable reproductions made from pure Atocha silver. Each
piece is of a limited edition. The strikingly beautiful bezels are overlayed
14K gold. Each comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
The
Atocha was a Spanish Treasure Galleon which struck a reef and sank in
the Florida keys on September 5, 1622. The Galleon contained 47 troy tons
of treasure. The treasure remained buried at sea until 1985 when salvager
Mel Fisher found the mother lode.
